Demi Moore Shares Update on Ex-Husband Bruce Willis’ Health Following Dementia Diagnosis

Demi Moore recently gave an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis’ condition following his dementia diagnosis.

Willis stepped back from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, a language impairment disorder. His family later confirmed that the actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).

While many of Willis’ family members have shared occasional updates, Moore, his ex-wife, is the latest to speak on his health. Despite their divorce, Moore continues to maintain a close relationship with Willis and his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.

During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday (13 September), Moore provided insight into the Die Hard star’s current state. Before diving into the update, Barrymore reminisced about working with Willis on Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle in 2003, where he made a small cameo. She recalled knowing Willis for a long time, even back when he was a bartender.

When Barrymore asked about Willis’ condition, Moore replied, “Given the givens, he’s in a stable place.” She also discussed how she’s guiding her children during Willis’ health journey. Moore, who shares daughters Rumer (36), Scout (33), and Tallulah (30) with Willis, shared the advice she gives her kids: “You meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment.”

Her words echoed Tallulah’s recent reflections. Last month, Tallulah shared a ‘painful’ update on her father, explaining that despite the challenges, their visits are filled with love, which “overarches anything.” She emphasized the importance of using their platform to raise awareness and help others facing similar struggles.
