‘UFO’ Reportedly Seen Flying at 2,000 mph Over Beach During Storm

A beachgoer captured an eerie sight when a ‘UFO’ seemingly zoomed by at 2,000 mph over Fort Lauderdale Beach in Florida.

Financial analyst Carmen Rich was filming a storm on June 17 when he noticed a ‘ball of light’ streaking across the sky. He insists it wasn’t lightning. The startling footage, slowed down to show the ‘UFO’ appearing and vanishing in an instant, has Carmen exclaiming, “Wow, did you see that just shoot across?”

The object’s swift movement was so quick that his step-sister, Jennifer Rich, 20, missed it entirely. Carmen, who hails from Boston, described it as “the fastest thing I’ve ever seen” and noted that despite its incredible speed, it made no noise. He compared its speed to a plane in the background to gauge its velocity.

Carmen was initially skeptical and wondered if he had imagined it. The footage shows a bright light, but Carmen insists it appeared much larger in person. Though he was on vacation and intended to stay calm, the experience left him unsettled.

He believes the object was a UFO, whether human or non-human, and feels it may be something the public won’t fully understand for a long time, if ever. He mentioned that local residents he showed the video to had never seen anything like it before.

Carmen also shared his belief that it’s naïve to assume Earth is the only place with life. Reactions on his Facebook post included astonished comments and theories, with one user suggesting that aliens might be drawn to thunderstorms to charge their ships. Another praised Carmen’s keen observation, while a third expressed amazement at the footage
